Piko 37252 DB BR94 Steam loco.

As early as 1905, powerful T 16 Class 0-10-0T locomotives were in service on the Prussian State Railways. Increasing tonnage and the desire to use the T 16s in a larger operating area led to the development of the T 16.1 Class. The first of the T 16.1s, later classified as the BR94.5s were delivered in 1913.From the beginning they were used in heavy switching service and on steeply graded routes. The T 16.1 was even able to replace rack locomotives on some steep grades.

The model has an articulated chassis which means it'll manage the R1 curves. There are two powerful 7 pole motors protected from moisture. 4 ball bearing geared drive axles. Two wheels with traction tyres. Electrical pickups on all wheels as well as 4 spring loaded pick up shoes that slide directly on the rails. Heavily weighted for maximum traction. Directional lighting front and back. Switchable smoke unit and under running plate lights as well as cab light and firebox glow.
