With this adaptor it is possible to fit your Regner (or Accucraft) loco with a 1/2" pressure gauge without soldering. Made in Germany and finished over here by me. The outer thread is M5x0.5, the inner thread is 5BA for a 1/2" pressure gauge. 

Use a small amount of PTFE tape on the thread of your 1/2" Pressure gauge and screw it into the adaptor using two spanners (one on the flats under the pressure gauge). Now screw the adaptor into the syphon pipe union nut (no PTFE needed here), using two spanners on the adaptor and the syphon union nut. face the pressure gauge in the correct position before tightening.
